Location

The Student Village Latokartano is located in Helsinki, Finland, on the Viikki Campus of the University of Helsinki. The street addresses of the buildings are Talonpojantie 7-19, 00790 Helsinki. There is about 10 km to the city centre from Viikki. Please, have a look at some links to get a view:

Public transportation

The easiest way to get to the Village is to use busses 57, 68(X), 79 (Helsinki internal lines), get off at the stop Tilanhoitajankaari or Ylioppilaskylä (79). Also the regional lines 550 and 506 from Espoo go near the Village. There are also many internal lines by which you can come to the Viikki campus and then walk to the Village, for example bus lines 70, 75, 77. The regional lines 730-742 which operate between Helsinki and Vantaa stop near the campus (stop Viikki in Lahdenväylä).

The easiest way to get to the city center from the Village is to use the bus 68(X) or take bus number 79 to Siilitie metro station and take the metro from there. Siilitie is the nearest metro station. The nearest train stations (Pukinmäki and Oulunkylä) are on the routes of the bus lines 79 (Pukinmäki) and 550 (Oulunkylä).
